After a night of Dollar Tree extravaganzas, Labatt Blue, and mosquito bites it had been decided. Tracy is to take on a new project (as if she, and I alike, don’t have enough on our plates).
I am now her student. She is dead-set on teaching me what it takes to get along outside my comfort zone.
So here goes. One night a week (on varying nights) Tracy and I will head out to the bars. Maybe one, maybe more per night. She then plans to leave me in situations that I certainly don’t care to be in!
Why is she doing this? Well you see in 74 days I will be moving to Rochester, NY to live with my boyfriend. I’ll be away from everything I’ve ever known. My family, my friends, and my watering holes. Not that I’ve ever had trouble making friends, but being in a new city where I only know 1 other person will be an adventure for sure!
Each night we go out I’ll post a blog chronicling our experiences with stories, photos, quotes, and maybe even videos. You’ll hear about what we did, who we met, what we learned, what works, and what doesn’t.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy. But be sure to have your seatbelt on, it’s going to be a wild ride!
